There are two large Drupal theming discussions is happening right now, I'm sure some of you are aware but for those who are not here is a brief summary:
1. Project plan for a new standard Drupal 7
First up, many interesting things about the project plan for a new standard Drupal 7 theme.
At the moment this a wiki page with an 8-step plan is, addressing the question ' how we a new default theme in core? '.Step 1 create of a project plan' has gotten so fast in there its due date on 7 November 2008!
Also, it looks as a competition theming Drupal create it 7 subtopics for core, according to the new base theme completed has, I'm sure be interesting to a number of Themers out there.
2. Drupal.org redesign
Secondly, much discussion about prototype iteration # 5 (including first Visual design direction) of the drupal.org redesign gone online here.
